This is a gorgeous card that my lovely daughter Amy (age almost 11) made today for her friend Clara. I'm going to let her tell you how she made it!
ok, first I got the stamp set called Polka Dots and Petals. Then I got some inkpads called Cameo Coral, Certainly Celery and Tempting Turquoise. I chose 2 of the colours using the Colour Coach (Tempting Turquoise and Cameo Coral) and then chose the other colour by picking some pretty ribbon. Mum got the cardstock for me and cut it up. I stamped a background with some of the stamps from Polka Dots and Petals and stamped them on to white cardstock. Then I used SNAIL to stick it onto the Tempting Turquoise Cardstock. Then I stuck the Certainly Celery ribbon on top of the white cardstock. Then I stuck it onto my Cameo Coral card. Then I punched out a Certainly Celery Scallop Circle and a Cameo Coral Circle. Then I stamped Happy Birthday in Tempting Turquoise ink and punched it out with another circle punch. I stamped a Certainly Celery flower in the middle. Then I stuck 3 dimensionals on the back of the Cameo Coral circle and stuck that to the scallop. Then I stuck that to the card. I hope Clara really likes my card!
What a very clever girl you have. Looks like she enjoys it as much as her mum. Love the colours and great card description. Keep it up!!

Hi Amy,
ReplyDeleteYour card is beautiful! I can see you have inherited Mummy's talent. I know Clara will love your card because it IS so beautiful, but also because you made it for her yourself, meaning she is a special friend. When will YOU be taking us for a class?

What a great card Amy - Did mum tell you that you 'had' to have some Certainly Celery? The colours look great & the instructions were very clear - I may have to CASE it for a card I am making for my mum for mother's day. :) Thanks for sharing - keep up the good work
