Hippest Hippos

So here is my most recent set of Hippest Hippos cards. 

For these cards I've used 3 Sale-a-Bration products - the Hippest Hippo stamps, Hippo dies and Silver & Gold 6"x6" paper. Gotta love free products!

This fun colour combo is Coastal Cabana, Polished Pink and Parakeet Party. You can see everything else I used to make this card listed below.

Parakeet Party Hippo

After my last card, I had a set of 5 left over circles, cut out from the Picture This Dies. I couldn't let gold spotty stitched circles go to waste, and so this card was born!

I used Parakeet Party as my card base (love this bright shade of lime green!). I've used 3 Sale-a-Bration products on this card - the Hippest Hippo stamps, Hippo dies and Silver & Gold 6"x6" paper. I love free products!

Picture This Hippos

I couldn't resist popping all 3 Hippest Hippos on one card and I decided that the Picture This Dies were the perfect way to show them off.

Each Hippo has their own window, and I've used the other windows for the sentiment, which I chopped up. I've used 3 Sale-a-Bration products on this card - the Hippest Hippo stamps, Hippo dies and Silver & Gold 6"x6" paper. I love free products!

I've used Polished Pink for this card...it's the perfect shade of girly pink. You can see everything else I used to make this card listed below.

Mushrooms and Butterflies

I spent a happy afternoon snipping sweet images from the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper (you can get this Sale-a-Bration paper free with a $90 order). 

For this card, I used the cute little mushrooms and butterflies. I popped them on a Stitched Rectangle for this card, and popped a few of them up on Dimensionals too. I also put a co-ordinating piece of patterned paper behind my main panel.

The sentiment is from Go To Greetings and I also added some Seasonal Sequins for a little pop of sparkle.

Two Little Birdies

I spent a happy afternoon snipping sweet images from the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper (you can get this Sale-a-Bration paper free with a $90 order). 

For this card I used the cute little birdy pattern. I popped 2 birdies on a Tree Ring, and then onto a Stitched Rectangle. Don't they look like they're having a chat? I popped another Stitched Rectangle cut from the paper behind. 

The sentiment is from Go To Greetings and I also added some Seasonal Sequins for a little pop of sparkle.

Splendid Day Meets Wonderful World

I love pre-printed notecards for quick and easy cards. If you do too, make sure you grab a pack of the Pool Party & Soft Sea Foam Cards & Envelopes in the Sale-a-Bration Brochure (free with a $90 order).

Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam would have to be 2 of my most-used colours (they seem to go with everything!). For these cards, I stuck with these 2 colours, along with metallic copper and silver for a soft and pretty colour scheme. The floral image is from another Sale-a-Bration set, Wonderful World.
