Awash with Thanks

This is a very simple card but I was really happy with the way it turned out. I used the Awash with Beauty DSP pack. It has some stunning floral patterns and also some beautiful co-ordinating plain pieces that are perfect for backgrounds. I cut out my bunch of flowers by hand.

I used a Scalloped Contour die to frame my flowers, and placed some of the patterned paper behind as a background. 

I used Go to Greetings for the sentiment, and added a few Iridescent Pearls for sparkle.

Just a Note

For this card I used the Awash with Beauty DSP pack. It has some stunning floral patterns and also some beautiful co-ordinating plain pieces that are perfect for backgrounds. I cut out my flowers and leaves by hand, but you can also use the co-ordinating Organic Beauty dies.

I used a Scalloped Contour die as a border, and placed some of the patterned paper behind to make it stand out. My base card is Soft Sea Foam - a beautiful pale green that is almost a neutral.

I used Go to Greetings for the sentiment (you may have noticed that I use this set a lot!), and added a few Iridescent Pearls for sparkle.

Simple Awash in Beauty

I'm constantly amazed at what can be created from just a few products - in this case, a paper pack, one stamp set, and a set of dies. The Awash with Beauty DSP pack has some stunning floral patterns and also some beautiful co-ordinating plain pieces that are perfect for backgrounds.

I wanted to add a little bit of extra detail to this card, so I used a Scalloped Contour die as a border, by joining 2 lengths together. 

I used Go to Greetings for the sentiment (I use this set so often!), and added a few Iridescent Pearls for sparkle (I use these a lot too!).

Christmas Greetings!

Happy Christmas Eve! I just wanted to pop in and wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas. I hope your 2023 is filled with lots of happy, crafty times. 

I managed to send out 200 of these cards this year (with the help of my very dear friend Manda), and I would love to have been able to send out even more. 

I used one of my favourite Holiday products on my card - the Decorated with Happiness stamp set - in some less traditional Christmas colours - Soft Succulent and Starry Sky. I added a bit of sparkle with wink of Stella and some Pearlized Enamel Effects.

I hope your Festive Season is full of peace, love and joy and I hope it continues throughout the new year!

Elephant Parade

Here is my set of little elephant cards. These were all made using the Design a Daydream Host DSP. These patterns and colours are so soft and pretty and I think they work really well with my little elephant cards.

What a Happy Day!

Here is my third little elephant card. Doesn't he look pleased as punch with his yellow balloon?! I coloured him in with Blends, and used the co-ordinating dies to cut out the grass and other elements.

I've paired the elephant with the Design a Daydream Host DSP. This happy pattern just says 'party' to me. I also used DSP to die-cut the grass from, and for the small piece behind the sentiment.

I had lots of fun making this one. I hope it brings a smile to your face!

Friends Forever

These little friends are just so cute together! I guess this elephant isn't afraid of mice, and this little mouse looks ready to give him a hug. I coloured them in with Blends, and used the co-ordinating dies to cut out the grass and other elements. I even created the look of twine with a thin strip of cardstock and a die-cut bow.

I've made use of the Design a Daydream Host DSP again. I also used the DSP for the grass and I even lined up the pink and green checkered pattern in the background.

This card was so much fun to make. I have one more to show you next time!

Sweet Little Elephant

How cute is this little elephant?! I think she is just so adorable, sitting on the grass, legs akimbo while she watches the butterfly flutter about. I coloured her in with Blends, and used the co-ordinating dies to cut out the grass and other elements.

I've paired the elephant with the Design a Daydream Host DSP. These patterns and colours are so soft and pretty and I think they work really well with my little elephant.
