This week I challenged myself to use the Let's Go Fishing Designer Series Paper. Not my usual wheelhouse...I think I can count on one hand the number of times I've made a fishing-themed card! There aren't many fishermen or women in my life, so I didn't make these too fishy.
This one is mainly about the blues and the ocean. I chose 2 of the blue patterns and placed them on an angle. I used one of my favourite sentiment sets on this card - Layering Leaves - and framed them in some circles. For embellishment, I used the In Color Jute Trim and some Sparkle Gems.
I'll be back soon with some more not-so-fishy cards soon. Thanks for stopping by!
Here is my set of Silly Goose cards. These were lots of fun to make, and were nice and quick too, as the geese don't need much colouring! I also used the Radiating Stitches dies to frame them, and the Delightfully Eclectic DSP brings a splash of pattern and colour. I added some texture with the Geometric Patterns embossing folders.
Here is my fourth Silly Goose card. I usually only make a set of 3 cards, but I couldn't bear to leave one of the geese out! These geese have so much personality! And I think the Radiating Stitches dies frame them so well.
This bright stripey pattern from the Delightfully Eclectic DSP just says 'birthday' to me. I added some texture with the Geometric Patterns embossing folders.
How chilled out does this little lady look on her pool float? These Silly Goose stamps are so easy to colour too - they only require a few touches of colour to bring them to life. I've popped her on a Radiating Stitches rectangle.
I think this spotty yellow pattern from the Delightfully Eclectic DSP echoes the spots on the pool floatie nicely. The Geometric Patterns embossing folders provide contrasting texture, on a piece of pool Party, of course!
I have another Silly Goose card to share with you today. This sweet girl looks pleased as punch with her 'thanks' sign. I placed here on a Radiating Stitches circle die to frame her, and a couple of larger circles too.
In the background is the Delightfully Eclectic DSP. There are so many different styles and colours in this pack, hence the name. You can create so many different looks!
