Happy Forest Owl

This week I'll be sharing some cards made with the Happy Forest Friends Suite. This is such a cute Suite of products to play with lots of forest animals, along with little mushrooms, foliage and butterflies to set the scene.

My little owl is perched on a tree stump, to deliver "Just a Note" (from Go To Greetings). He is framed by patterned paper from Happy Forest Friends, and in the background is the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. 

Can you see the raised pearly dots on the patterned paper? I've used the Pearlized Enamel Effects to create those. Love this stuff!

Lovely and Lasting

And here is my third Vintage-style card using the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper. For this card,  I snipped out some of the larger bunches of flowers from the paper, and lightly coloured them using Petal Pink, So Saffron and Soft Sea Foam Blends. I also snipped out the sentiment (from the Lovely and Lasting stamp set). 

I used the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder in the background and lightly 'swiped' the raised surface using a Crumb Cake inkpad to give it a little more definition.

For embellishments I decided on the stunning Natural Finish Ribbon and Iridescent Pearls.

And here is my second Vintage-style card using the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper. For this card,  I lightly coloured some flowers and leaves from the DSP using Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam Blends. I then fussy-cut them so I could place them on my card. I placed them around the punched sentiment (from the Lovely and Lasting Bundle). 

I used the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder in the background and lightly 'swiped' the raised surface using a Whisper White inkpad. It looks so soft and pretty on the Crumb Cake cardstock.

For embellishments I decided on the stunning Natural Finish Ribbon and Iridescent Pearls.
