Triple Time Three Ways

I made this set of cards some time ago for publication in a Papercraft magazine. I showcased the "Triple Time" Stamping technique using the (retiring!) Everything Eleanor stamp set and (also retiring!) Petite Pairs stamp set. See the full Retiring List HERE

May Stamp-a-Stack Class

This is one of the sets of cards we'll be making in next week's Stamp-a-Stack Class. I thought I'd pop the class details here too, since this will be the last class I'm running for a while (see below). We head off on our Mediterranean Cruise in a few weeks, and then we are staying on to tour Munich, Bavaria, Salzburg, Switzerland, and then finally finishing up in Venice....needless to say, it will be the trip of a lifetime!
Lots of retiring products on these cards... This stamp set, the punches and all of these lovely embossing folders are retiring, and so is the ribbon and twine. My colour combo is Tangelo Twist (retiring), Hello Honey (Retiring), Pool Party, Island Indigo, Tip Top Taupe and Very Vanilla.

I'd love to see you next week:
Stamp-a-Stack Class

A mouse in a teapot

I always like to make a little gift for my team members at Stampin' Up! events, and I always try to make it mouse-themed (my team name is Stampers Anony-"mouse"). At our recent OnStage Event in Sydney, I handed out these little goodie bags. I found some tea-pot stamped cookies and popped them into a 4"x6"cello bag, decorated with a pretty topper. The punch-art mousie is clipped on with a peg, and could be worn as a badge at the event.
The punch art is mainly just circles, but the mouse's head is made using the balloon punch.
I'm so sad that the Cups and Kettles framelits are retiring - I don't think I'll be parting with mine!

More Balloon Celebrations Watercolour Lifting

When I demonstrated the Watercolour Lifting technique recently, I ended up with quite a few sample pieces that I decided to turn into cards. I couldn't decide which colour card base to use - Island Indigo or Marina Mist... Which do you prefer?

More Watercolour Lifting

As promised, here are some more cards I made recently using the Watercolour Lifting technique. I had to try one in my favourite blue/green palette. I've used Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Island Indigo, and the stamp set Summer Silhouettes. I'm so sad that this set is retiring!
Then, I decided to try one in purples (Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant, Blackberry Bliss) with Butterflies. This stamp is not as large and bold, so the effect isn't as striking, but still pretty:

My OnStage Swap

Last weekend I attended a very special Stampin' Up! event where I got to mix and mingle with other Demonstrators from around Australia; we received training on up and coming products, we were totally spoilt with prizes and giveaways AND we got to see and pre-order from the brand new Annual Catalogue! Needless to say, it was a fabulous couple of days...and all I can say about the new Catalogue is that you'd better save your pennies, because it is FULL of amazing new stamp sets, tools and accessories....imagine 350 Demonstrators all oohing and ahhhing at the same time! I know it's a big call, but in my 10 years as a Demonstrator, this is my favourite Catalogue EVER. There is just so much to love.
Swapping cards for ideas and inspiration is a part of every Stampin' Up! event, and this was my Swap Card. It's lots of fun swapping with old friends and new, and coming home with a bunch of creative samples.
You can see the products that I used listed below. I made use of the Timeless Textures stamp set on all 3 layers of my card. I stamped the 'canvas' stamp over the raised embossed areas to accentuate it.
