April Blog Hop

Welcome to another Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop! This month we have a Sketch Challenge. You can make the complete circuit and see all the lovely creations by following the links at the end of each post.

I decided on the beautiful Summer Shadows Dies for this sketch. These are both a sneak peak and a returning favourite in our upcoming NEW Annual Catalogue. They were a Sale-a-Bration item last year and now they are back to purchase. I'm very happy because they co-ordinate with the Shaded Summer stamp set, which is a favourite of mine. Anyway, here is my card:

I cut out all the dies in white cardstock and then applied ink colours using the Blending Brushes. This gives a really soft, pretty effect. 

I decided on most of the 2021-23 In Colors for my colour scheme - Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia, Soft Succulent and Polished Pink, with a 'splash' of Pool Party. I've used the Brick and Mortar 3D embossing folder in the background, for some subtle pattern. 

The sentiment is from Shaded Summer, and I've used some Pool Party Sheer ribbon and a few Iridescent Rhinestones for some sparkle.

More Cinnamon

Here I was saying I don't use Cinnamon Cider much and now I've used it again! This time, paired with Misty Moonlight. Both of these colours are retiring soon, so grab them now if you like them or need ink refills!

Birthday Balloon Mouse

I just had to use this little balloon mousie for some recent Team Birthdays. He's just so cute, hanging on to his big balloon.

I stamped him on a stitched scalloped rectangle and coloured him with Blends. I stamped the balloon on patterned paper and cut it out. You can see everything else I've used listed below.

Cinnamon Flowers

I don't use Cinnamon Cider very often, but I do really like it whenever I do! This card is a CaSE of the one on page 54 of the JJ Mini. I used a different stamp set but the same colours and layout.

The flower is from Blessings of Home, and I've coloured it using Blends. You can see the other supplies I've used listed below.

Happy Hedgehogs

This is the very last Shoebox card I have to show you, but due to stamping mishaps, it ended up not being much like Heather's original design at all! I stamped my sentiment wonky and then started cutting out other elements to stick over it, but then couldn't find a layout I was happy with. So, I went to my go-to set of dies when I can't make a layout work - the Picture This dies. Happily, it allowed me to add lots of cute elements to the card.

I hope you've enjoyed seeing all of my Stamp Camp ShoeBox cards...we certainly all enjoyed making them! 

What is a Shoebox Swap, I hear you ask? All the ingredients for making a card are included in each box, including pre-cut cardstock. It's great to be able to sit down and make 10 cards without having to think/plan/design.
