Butterfly Kisses

I always think that there's nothing like Designer Series Paper to step you out of your colour comfort zone. I love the brightness of the colours in the Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper, but they aren't necessarily colours I would choose to put together. This combination is Calypso Coral, Parakeet Party and Starry Sky. Such a fun combo!

The patterns in this paper are lots of fun too. I cut out this cheery butterfly and then a strip of co-ordinating DSP for it to sit on. I framed it in Starry Sky and popped it on a Thick Basic White card base. 

The sentiment is from Go to Greetings, and I've used some Parakeet Party In Color Dots for decoration.

New Horizons Set

So here is my set of 3 New Horizons cards. This Designer Series Paper certainly makes for quick and easy (but stunning!) cards. Now I want to make some more cards using the rest of the patterns in the pack. I'd better get cracking before it retires on June 30.

New Horizons Sunset

Here's the third card I made using the stunning New Horizons Designer Series Paper. You can find this paper in the January-June Mini Catalogue (so it is only available until June 30!).

The watercoloured look of these papers is so pretty. The only thing I stamped on this card is the sentiment. The sentiment is from a brand new set called Go to Greetings. I've also used the new Stylish Shapes dies again - they fit these words really well.

A few embellishments finish off this card - Linen Thread swirled behind the greeting and a few Iridescent Rhinestones.

Here's another card starring the stunning New Horizons Designer Series Paper. You can find this paper in the January-June Mini Catalogue (so it is only available until June 30!).

I love the watercoloured look of these papers. The only thing I stamped is the birds in the sky and the sentiment. The sentiment is from a brand new set called Go to Greetings. The words in this set are going to come in so handy. I'll also be using the new Stylish Shapes dies a lot - there's a great range of sizes and gorgeous stitched detailing.

A few embellishments finish off this card - Linen Thread and a few Iridescent Rhinestones.

I feel like I can't take credit for this card. All the work is done by the stunning New Horizons Designer Series Paper. You can find it in the January-June Mini Catalogue (so it is only available until June 30!).

The papers have the look of watercoloured scenery, and the only thing I stamped is the birds in the sky and the sentiment. The sentiment is from a brand new set called Go to Greetings. I know I'll be using this one a LOT - it has all the words I use most, in 3 different fonts, of 3 different sizes. 

A few embellishments complete this card - Linen Thread and a few Champagne Rhinestones.

Craft Sale on Soon!

Not long to go now!  Our Annual Craft Sale is happening again on Saturday 4th June.

Calling all lovers of purple! Here we have Gorgeous Grape and Fresh Freesia co-ordinating with the beautiful blooms from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper. 

For this card I've combined it with the Sending Smiles bundle. I opted to put my sentiment on a bit of an angle, just for something a bit different. Straight can be a bit boring sometimes!
