I am CaSEing the Catalogue today - page 96, for this one! I did change a few things to make it my own, though. The Artistically Inked stamp set is still a firm favourite! I use it all the time, I love the splash of colour it brings to a card.

Beautiful Tree
Just a quick and simple one today. Sometimes simple is all you need when you have a gorgeous stamp set and a beautiful colour combination - this is Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen, with a dash of Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.
The stamp set is Beauty of Friendship. The tree leaves have a really dimensional look, thanks to 2-step stamping....very little effort, but a really 'wow' effect!

Birthday Turtle
How cute is Mr Turtle, with his party hat and birdie friend? I love that there's a punch to cut him out too! It's called the Turtle and Friends Bundle. I've given them a spotty background with the Checks & Dots Embossing Folder, and added a little extra detail with some patterned Designer Series Paper.
This colour combination is Soft Succulent and Fresh Freesia.
I've had a soft spot for turtles ever since my daughter Amy as a 2-year-old used to call them "tuttles". So cute!
Have a great weekend!

Peachy Glow
I have a peachy card to share with you today. I pulled out the You're a Peach Suite again and stamped some peaches that look just ripe for picking. I inked the stamp in Petal Pink and then sponged on some Calypso Coral on one side before stamping. This gives them a realistic 'peachy' glow.
I used the Greenery embossing folder to give the card some texture, and also a piece of white twine. I love this stripy pattern in the You're a Peach Designer Series Paper. It has the look of hand-painting. I used Granny Apple Green for the leaves, to add a bright pop of colour. I embossed the sentiment in white on Calypso Coral cardstock.

More Macrame!
Once I'd made one macrame hanging pot plant card, I had to make more! This is the Plentiful Plants bundle again, and I've used the brick pattern from the Bloom Where You're Planted DSP again too.

Expressions in Pink
The Expressions in Ink Suite is so stunning, I think it's impossible to make a bad card with it... but I won't try and prove it!

Macrame!
Confession time: I have a soft spot for macrame. I think it started when I was in 4th grade (around 1982!!) and we made macrame pot plant holders, and then those who finished quickly (me!) got to make a macrame owl too. I can still remember the earthy smell of the yarn as I tied the knots. I was very proud of my work and my Mum hung up both of them on our deck until they eventually disintegrated.
Now that macrame is trendy again, we have some gorgeous products dedicated to the craft. So of course I had to get the Bloom Where You're Planted Suite. I love that you can make very detailed, multi-layered cards with these products, but they also lend themselves to very simple cards.
This card is somewhere in between. I've used both stamps and die cuts from the Plentiful Plants bundle but also a simple Designer Series Paper background. I cut the lower half on an angle, for something different. I also used actual twine to 'hang' my pot plant holder.
The colours here are Cinnamon Cider, Grey Granite, Garden Green and Soft Succulent.
