Build a Birthday Stamp-a-Stack

This Build a Birthday stamp set is so much fun! I can see me getting lots of use out of this one. I'm always needing birthday cards, and this set suits birthdays of all ages. I've gone with a bright and happy colour combo - Bermuda Bay, Cucumber Crush, Crushed Curry and Watermelon Wonder.
I created most of my birthday cakes with stamps, but one is made out of washi tape.
TIP: Attaching your washi tape to wax paper first makes it easier to cut it to the right length.

Guy Greetings Stamp-a-Stack

Just a quick one from me today - I'm currently buried under mountains of Retired Goodies for our Craft Sale on Saturday. I'm pricing everything SUPER cheap this year...I really need to clear some space on my shelves!
These are the cards we made in my Stamp-a-Stack Class last week. I finally caved and bought the Guy Greetings stamp set. I needed another masculine set, and this one has some great images and sentiments. I've also used the Go Wild 6"x6" Paper Stack and Tip Top Taupe as my base colour.
You can make a fun background element using just strips of DSP, laid over some subtle background stamping.
Now, I'd better get back to pricing my retired goodies! Hope to see you on Saturday.

CaSE-ing the Catty

I know I've said it before, but our catalogue is full of beautiful product samples, just begging to be copied. This one on page 125 caught my eye on my very first browse through the catalogue.
We were given the "Awesomely Artistic" stamp set at our Leadership event at the Gold Coast Convention, so one of the first things I did when I got home, was whip up my version of this lovely card:

I've kept mine more mono-chromatic, in Pool Party, Black and Vanilla, but apart from that I've made very few changes. I did a DIY version of the flower using the Itty Bitty Accent flower punch:

I'm gradually working my way through the Catalogue CaSE-ing lots more samples. For those who don't know, "CaSE" means "Copy and Share Everything" and is encouraged in the stamping community.

Pool Party Baby

Baby cards are such fun to make! I made this one for Michael, my newest great-nephew...is that what you call your niece's son? I'm not very good with the family tree stuff - I tend to just call them niece/nephew or cousin, depending on the generational fit!
I've used Pool Party and White for my colour combination, and some leftover Sale-a-Bration DSP that I found in my stash.

Gift Bag Punch Board Projects

I love having a new toy to play with! The latest in my collection is the Gift Bag Punch Board. It's now super easy to make gift bags and boxes in all shapes and sizes.
Here's a closer look at the 3 at the back:

I've used lots of fun bits and pieces to decorate my bags and boxes, but they all feature the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack. I'm going through lots of this paper. I'm finding the bright colours and cute patterns really easy to use.
Check out how easy it is to make your own gift bags:

Sheltering Tree Screen Card

I've seen a few of these screen cards around, and had been itching to try one. I decided that Sheltering Tree, in all 4 seasons would be the perfect set to use for my first attempt.

These screen cards are very easy to make. I used the full length of a piece of A4 card for mine, scored in quarters (every 7.4cm). I made mine the regular height of an A5 card - 14.8cm. The screen 'legs' are made by punching with the Decorative Label Punch.

Shadowbox Garden

Hopefully you aren't too sick of my Garden in Bloom creations. This is the last one I have to show you, and then I'll move on to something else, I promise!
Punches are great for making windows in your cardfronts. Sometimes an image can have more impact when it is set behind a frame, like a shadow box.
My colour scheme here is Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron and a dash of Tip Top Taupe.

Plum Roses in Bloom

I have another simple Garden in Bloom card to share today. I've used Shimmery White cardstock again, and Mint Macaron again, but this time paired it with Perfect Plum.
I love the little rose stamp from this set, and I've let it shine by leaving lots of white space on this card.
