Country Flowers Card Set

Here is my set of Country Flowers cards, all inspired by Sam's Stamp Camp card. These were all made using the Country Flowers bundle, along with the Country Lace Designer Series Paper. I love this layout and white-on-white colour scheme, which really lets these pretty images shine.

These were lots of fun to put together!

Country Leaves

I decided to use the Country Flowers bundle to make a sympathy card this time. The images in this set and a soft colour palette give it a calm, serene feel. I used the same layout again, and the Country Lace Designer Series Paper. I'm always a bit unsure whether to add sparkle to a sympathy card, but the Iridescent Pearls are quite subtle so I decided to go with them.

Country Flowers Thanks

While I had the Country Flowers bundle on my desk, I cut out all 3 containers in the stamp set - the teapot, the milk pail and the stool. I also stamped all 3 flower/leaf arrangements and coloured them using Blends. Then it was just a matter of assembling. It's a quick way to make multiple cards.

I even used the same layout on all 3 cards, but flipped it to landscape for this version.

I chose a different piece of the Country Lace Designer Series Paper for all 3 cards. This pattern looks a lot like faded denim.

I'll be back with my third card next time!

Country Flowers ShoeBox

I have one last ShoeBox Card to share with you today. This was Sam's beautiful creation that we all got to make, in whatever colours we chose. I chose Calypso Coral, Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam to go with the Smoky Slate Patterned Paper and Watering Can. I love the white-on-white effect...it always looks so crisp and clean. 

This is the Country Flowers Bundle, and I've also used the Country Lace Designer Series Paper. The Eyelet 3D embossing folder complements this Suite nicely

What is a Shoebox Swap, I hear you ask? All the ingredients for making a card are included in each box, including pre-cut cardstock. It's great to be able to sit down and make 10 cards without having to think/plan/design. Thanks for stopping by!

Sweetest Star Card Set

Here is my set of 3 "Chubby Star" cards, all made using the Sweetest Star bundle, the Radiating Stitches Dies and the Take a Bow Designer Series Paper. I think the Adhesive-backed Peppermints really add a little special something to these cards. You can see everything i used listed below.

Holly Jolly Mrs Claus

These chubby star folk just make me smile. For this card, I've made 2 gingerbread men ... and a Mrs Claus to keep them in line! My gingerbread men are made out of Pecan Pie cardstock, with white embossing to really bring out their features. I gave them both some Peppermint buttons to dress them up. Mrs Claus has been stamped in Black Memento ink and coloured using Blends in Real Red and Granny Apple Green. They are sitting on a piece of Real Red cardstock that I cut out using the Radiating Stitches Dies. I think this checked pattern from the Take a Bow DSP works really well with the baking theme...it reminds me of a tea towel!
