Everlasting Correa and Leucadendron

The images in the Everlasting Beauty stamp set are so much fun to colour. For this card, I chose the Correa and Leucadendron images, stamped them on a Stylish Shapes Circle, and coloured them using Blends in Bubble Bath, Berry Burst, Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock. 

I've used Lost Lagoon as my base card colour. These 2 patterns from the Masterfully Made DSP provide a subtle background. 

The sentiment is from Go To Greetings, and I've framed it in a small piece of Berry Burst cardstock. I used some White Twine and a few Iridescent Pearls to finish the card off.

Everlasting Waratah

I couldn't resist purchasing the Everlasting Beauty stamp set. It's not often we see Australian Native flowers in a Stampin' Up! Catalogue. This stamp set features detailed illustrations of unique but gorgeous florals: Leucadendron, Correa (Canberra Bells), Red Spike Amaranth, and a Waratah.  

I've used Pretty Peacock as my base colour for this card. This pattern from the Masterfully Made DSP provides a subtle and pretty background. 

The sentiment is from Go To Greetings, a set I use a LOT.

Glorious Gingham Songbirds

And here is my Sweet Songbird card set. I've used the Glorious Gingham Designer Series Paper on all 3 cards, in 3 different colours.

The other colours I've used are all in the Glorious Gingham DSP - Lemon Lime Twist, Blueberry Bushel, Pecan Pie, Pretty Peacock and Berry Burst. I also added some Pumpkin Pie for their beaks and legs.

Pretty Peacock Songbird

And here is my third Sweet Songbird, this one in Pretty Peacock. Again, I've used the Glorious Gingham Designer Series Paper. I love this diagonal pattern.

I popped this little guy on a Stylish Shapes Stitched Circle. The other colours I've used are Lemon Lime Twist and Pecan Pie, and some Pumpkin Pie for his beak and legs.

A Little Bird Told Me...

How about a Berry Burst Sweet Songbird? Again, I've used the Glorious Gingham Designer Series Paper. I love the look of these 2 together!

Inside the card, it says "it's your special day!" The other colours I've used are the same ones in the paper - Blueberry Bushel, Lemon Lime Twist and Pecan Pie.

Gingham and Songbirds

I've had this Sweet Songbirds set for ages, but it's been a while since I played with it. When I was looking at the Glorious Gingham Designer Series Paper, I thought they would work really well together, so that's what I'll be sharing with you this week.

So first is a Blueberry Bushel songbird in a nest, singing away sweetly. The other colours I've used are the same ones in the paper - Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist and Pecan Pie. So bright and fun!
