August Blog Hop

Welcome to another Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop! This month we have a fun Colour Challenge! We had to use Lost Lagoon, Moody Mauve and Pecan Pie. You can make the complete circuit and see all the lovely creations by following the links at the end of each post.

I decided this would be the perfect colour combination to use with the Layering Leaves bundle:

I was initially unsure about these colours together, but I really like them now that I've used them. I stamped my leaves and flowers in Lost Lagoon and Moody Mauve and punched them out using the Bough Punch. I also punched some out of vellum. I love the touch of softness it adds.

I layered all the elements on a Stitched Circle from the Stylish Shapes dies. 

For the background layer I used the Pecan Pie diagonal gingham pattern from the Glorious Gingham DSP pack. I embossed sentiment in white embossing powder to make it really pop, and flagged the end.

I embellished my card with some Moody Mauve ribbon and a few sequins. You can see everything I used to make this card listed below.
