All about Seaside

I have been eyeing off the Seaside Notions stamp set for a while now. I have not yet succumbed, but I am very tempted! I borrowed a friends set to make these cards.

Of course I had to use a healthy dose of Seaside Spray on my cards. It's my favourite shade of blue - it's so soft and pretty. I've paired with an earthy tone - Soft Suede, and lots of white. I love this coastal look!

Merriest Christmas Wishes

With only one sleep to go, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas. I managed to send out 200 of these cards this year, and I would love to have been able to send out even more!

By necessity, I had to keep the design very simple! It's very sparkly in real life with the Silver Glimmer tree, Dazzling Diamonds glitter dotted around the stamped circle and spritzed with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (in a solution of rubbing alcohol). I used one of my favourite  holiday products on my card - the So Many Stars stamp set. I chose Seaside Spray, Silver and Whisper White for my colour combo.

I hope your Festive Season is full of peace, love and joy and I hope it continues throughout the new year!

How cute are these little guys? I used traditional red and green (Real Red and Shaded Spruce) with a dash of sunny yellow (Daffodil Delight). Perfect Elf colours, I think! These were such fun to colour with Blends. I originally just made tags but then decided to turn them into full cards. Here's the full set:

CCMC592 Playful Penguins

It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com.
This week is a sketch challenge, and this is the sketch we had to work with:

I decided to use the super cute Playful Penguins stamp set for today's sketch. I just love how these guys are showing off their dapper outfits! I stamped these guys in Black Memento ink and coloured their accessories with a Real Red Blend. The penguins themselves have lots of detail in the stamp, so no colouring required! My sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.

There's no challenge next week, as we are having a Christmas break. We'll be back with more in the New Year!

The Best Days

I already showed you this card as part of my Beautiful Friendship Stamp-a-Stack, but it was my favourite so I made a stack more for some special birthdays. I made them in all different colours too -pinks, yellows and reds. They've all been sent in the mail now, to brighten people's days!
