Happy last day of Sale-a-Bration! I have one last Country Floral embossing folder card to show you. For this one, I embossed plain white cardstock, and then used my Blends to colour in the design. I used Highland Heather, Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Pool Party and Mango Melody. I also used the Colour Lifter to lighten up some areas.

I have 3 cards to show you today - all made with the Country Floral Dynamic embossing folder (only 2 more days to get this for FREE!).
All 3 have been run through the Big Shot and then had ink applied afterwards with the Sponge Brayer. The card above is Soft Sea Foam cardstock and Soft Sea Foam ink. The ink really adds some extra depth and dimension.
This one below is Calypso Coral cardstock, sponged with Whisper White Craft ink. I love the way it softens the colour of the cardstock, but still leaves a lot of dimension:
For this next one, I've used Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper instead of cardstock, and then sponged with Pool Party ink.
On all 3 cards, I've used the sentiments from the Made to Bloom Kit, punched with the Story Label punch.

Can you believe that there's only 3 days left of Sale-a-Bration?! I've decided to go out with a bang and for the next 3 days I'll be showcasing one of my favourite FREE Sale-a-Bration products - the Country Floral Dynamic embossing folder.
I'll be showing you several different ways to use this embossing folder. It's too pretty to remain in the background, so I'm letting it be a feature on my cards.
For this card, I used a sponge brayer to cover the indented side of the folder with Petal Pink ink. I then inserted a piece of Petal Pink cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot. This is the result - a deep shade of Petal Pink on the flatter parts and the original cardstock colour on the raised areas!
I've just added a pretty ribbon, a sentiment (punched with the Story Label punch) and a little Frosted Flower embellishment.

This week is a sketch challenge, and this is the sketch we had to work with:
I struggled with this sketch, and in the end I still wasn't very happy with my card. Oh well, sometimes the vision in your head just doesn't translate in the way you think it will.
I've used products from the "How Sweet It Is" Suite in the Occasions Catalogue. I've taken my colours from the Designer Series Paper and the jar and sentiment are from the Sweetest Thing stamp set. I punched some gumball circles, in various sizes, and popped some in the jar too.
