Little Dreamers Card Set

Here is my set of Little Dreamers baby cards, inspired by Kathy's ShoeBox Swap. I also used the Sketched Plaid Background Stamp. 

Now I just need some friends or family to pop out a baby...any volunteers? Ha ha

Little Dreamer Calf

And here is my Bubble Bath version, using the Little Dreamers stamp set. This time, I used the sleepy little calf (so cute!).

I think the vellum circle adds a lovely soft touch, as does the sponging on the Sketched Plaid piece. I also dotted a few sequins around for a bit of sparkle.

Little Dreamer Elephant

I don't get the opportunity to make many baby cards these days, but it's always good to have a few on hand. This was Kathy's Shoebox at Stamp Camp, using the adorable Little Dreamers stamp set. This is the Balmy Blue version, but I couldn't resist making a couple more using the other animals in the stamp set, in other colours. I'll be back to show you those soon!

Baby Penguin

I was very happy when I saw that these little Penguins are hanging around. I've used them for Birthday cards, Christmas cards and now a baby card! I chose Fresh Freesia for my baby girl colour (a nice change from the usual pink). 

I wanted some gingham in the background, and I opted for 2 types - a DSP version (from Pansy Petals) and an embossed version (the new Gingham Embossing Folder). A scalloped edge is always a cute feature, so I popped my Penguin on a stitched scalloped rectangle (from the Scalloped Contours Dies).

I added a little touch of sparkle with the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon.

I love welcoming new babies into the world!

Welcome Little One

I love making baby cards. It's the perfect excuse to go all-out cuteness overload! The Witty-Cisms stamp set contains this sweet little pram image. It works equally well for baby boy or girl cards. I coloured it using Blends and then cut it out with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

The background paper is from the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper pack. I made a belly band from Blushing Bride cardstock (I added some texture with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder). The Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon tied in a bow is the perfect finishing touch. Now I just need a baby girl to give it to!

Wild About Pandas

If this card looks familiar, have a quick look at page 101 of the Annual Catalogue and you will see an elephant version! The Wildly Happy stamp set is just adorable.
I think my favourite part of this card is the tiled look of the Tailored Tag punched pieces. I punched from the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper. These colours remind me of Bamboo...perfect for my Pandas.
