Artistically Inked

I think this is my favourite stamp set in the current Annual Catalogue. It's no wonder they chose it to adorn the cover!

The first time I stamped the swirly flower was an absolute wow moment. It's just stunning. I chose some bright colours for this one - Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Crushed Curry.

A favourite trick of mine to add some softness to a bright card is to use vellum. I also added a bit of glitz with some gold ribbon and some gems.

All Squared Away

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to go on a wonderful long weekend with some treasured friends. We crafted away all day and into the night. It feels even more precious now that we are in Lockdown here in Sydney.

Being able to use supplies that we don't own (yet!) is another fun part of the weekend. This was Sam's stamp set and dies, and we CaSEd page 117 of the Catalogue for this one (but changing it lots along the way!).

These are 4 of the newest In Colors - Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent and Fresh Freesia.

I've been such a bad blogger lately! I've been making lots of cards, just not getting around to taking photos of them and posting them here. Hopefully I can change that going forward...but no promises! Life just gets in the way sometimes!

I had so much fun colouring in these cuties. I used my Blends and kept to muted tones and neutrals. How perfect is this DSP? You're going to be seeing a LOT more of it. It's called Pattern Party, and you'll find it in the Rewards section on page 171. If you can manage it, get a $250 order together - there are 4 sheets of each pattern, so you could share it among 2 or 4 people. The patterns are just to die for - rainbow-coloured on one side and black and white on the other.
