Desert Delight Daisies

I love the look of the Dainty Delight sample cards on pages 54 and 55 of the Mini Catalogue, so I decided to make my own version, using the Catalogue as inspiration. I began by cutting out a bunch of die-cut flowers and leaves, just in Basic White, and then coloured them in with Blends, using colours taken from the Delicate Desert Designer Series Paper - Cajun Craze, Calypso Coral, Gray Granite, Pale Papaya, Petal Pink and Soft Succulent. I also used this paper in the background to frame my flowers.

Then, it was simply a matter of playing with the placement of the flowers and leaves before sticking them down. I added a sentiment, some Linen Thread and a few Iridescent Rhinestones to finish off.

I was really happy with the way this turned out!
