This week is a sketch challenge, and this is the sketch we had to work with:
I have a sneak peek for you today! In just a few days (September 4), you'll be able to view the Holiday Catalogue. Among the pages, you will find this set - called Seasonal Wreaths. As you can see, it's a set that is not limited to Christmas! I've used the colour scheme of Rococo Rose, Gray Granite and Soft Seafoam. I stamped the wreath in Gray Granite and coloured it with my Blends.
A few things take this card to the next level:
- I used 2 embossing folders on this card - Brick and Mortar on the background piece and Subtle on the stamped panel (after I stamped and coloured).
- Rococo Rose 1/2" (1.3 Cm) Scalloped Linen Ribbon makes a cute trim for the sentiment panel.
- I also swirled some Silver Metallic Thread behind the sentiment as well.
- I spattered the card with Champagne Shimmer Paint for a dash of sparkle.
