For this week's challenge, I decided to pull out a set I hadn't used in a while - Painted Harvest. These sunflowers are just so cheery and I think these colours work really well for them. Confession Time - I did cheat a little, and added an extra colour - just a dash of Sahara Sand to make it a little more rustic. I stamped Birch background in Sahara Sand (stamped off) and also stamped the sunflower centres in Sahara Sand over the top of the Terracotta Tile. I also sponged the edges of the sentiment in Sahara Sand.
OK, confession over, and on with some other details about this card:
- I used Braided Linen Trim on this card - the perfect rustic embellishment.
- I ran my stamped panel through the Big Shot with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder
- The sentiment (from Perennial Birthday) has been punched out using the Timeless Label Punch. I shortened it by inserting it back into the punch and re-punching
