This is the second make-and-take that 58 lovely ladies made at my Launch Party. I often hear that people struggle with masculine card ideas, so I was excited to see the "Traveler" stamp set....it's perfect for the males in your life. And so is new In Color Mossy Meadow...a lovely deep green that pairs really well with brown tones.
I've stamped "World Map" in the background, in Baked Brown Sugar ink on Naturals Ivory cardstock. To make the 'peeled back' window, I punched a Word Window and then gently tore and rolled the edges until I had a rectangular hole. It's an effective way to add some dimension without adding another layer. There's lots of sponging going on here too, in Crumb Cake ink, to add to the vintage feel.
I'm loving the new In Color Ribbon. It's the perfect finishing touch on this card...did I mention that you can get all the colours in my Product Shares? ;o)
