Above the Clouds Make-and-Take

This is the other make-and-take from my Launch Party Open House. It's another simple one, but still hopefully with enough of a 'wow'!

For this one we used the new Above the Clouds Bundle and some new In Colors too - Seaside Spray and Terracotta Tile. I've paired them with Night of Navy and Grapefruit Grove.

I'm loving this new Night of Navy/Sahara Sand twine....it's the perfect finishing touch!

Magnolia Make-and-Take

Last weekend was my New Catalogue Launch Party Open House. I designed 2 make-and-takes for all the ladies to do on the day. I had to make them simple enough that they didn't require too much instruction, but still 'wow' enough. Hopefully I achieved that!

We made this card using the Good Morning Magnolia set...an absolute fave of mine! If you love this set too, then I highly recommend it's sister set, Magnolia Blooms. This set appears in our new
Beginner Brochure. Some of the items in this brochure feature in the Annual Catalogue, but there are other items exclusive to this brochure.

To make this card, we stamped the Crackle background in Versamark ink (TIP: use the Stamparatus for perfect positioning!). Next the large magnolia bloom was stamped in Early Espresso on the Crumb Cake cardstock. The small magnolia flower has been cut from the Designer Series Paper. I was very nice and pre-cut 30 of these for my ladies!! I popped a Vellum circle behind it for a touch of softness. The sentiment has been punched using the new Timeless Label Punch (this one is a must have!). Some of our prettiest ribbon and a few adhesive sequins finish off this card.

First Frost and Shimmer

This was the make-and-take at our recent team get-together. I’ve used the new First Frost bundle. It’s a versatile set that can be used for Christmas, but also lends itself well to other occasions. I’ve also used other new products - the Tin Tile Embossing Folder and Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint, and incorporated some products from the Annual Catalogue too – the leaf punch and vellum. I made my Gray Granite strip shimmery by sponging it with Champagne Shimmer Mist.

I kept this card soft and pretty with a colour scheme of  Whisper White, Gray Granite, Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink and  Mango Melody. I think the vellum leaves add softness too.

Delightful Daisy Make-and-Take

This was the other make-and-take that my Launch Party attendees were able to make at my Open House. They had a choice between the blue and white daisy paper and the multi-coloured one. Can you guess which one was more popular?

Balloon Adventures Make-and-Take

This was the second make-and-take at my Open House. I'm always on the look out for versatile stamp sets that can be used for any age and gender. The Balloon Adventures stamp set is certainly one of those. If you make lots of birthday cards (who doesn't?), this is a great one to add to your collection. The bonus is that there are co-ordinating dies (including a pop-up element) and a punch.
I've made a 'boy' card with the colours Night of Navy, Pumpkin Pie and Smoky Slate. It would work equally as well with more girly colours though....I can just see a Flirty Flamingo spotty balloon!

Hey, Chick Make-and-Take

This is one of the cards that we made at my Open House on Sunday. It incorporates some of my favourite products from the Occasions Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration brochure. Of course the crazy-haired chicken is from the Hey, Chick stamp set. She has been watercoloured using the new Watercolour pencils.
I've also used the stunning new Hexagons Dynamic Embossing folder in the Occasions Catalogue. It reminds me a little of chicken wire when it's used this way :)
I also snuck in a stitched shape...because plain shapes are SO last year!
My colours are Watermelon Wonder, Bermuda Bay and a dash of Peekaboo Peach.
