Scribble Wheel

I have one more Chicken card to show you, but I thought I'd give you a sneak peak of something new first...
HOW GORGEOUS IS THIS WHEEL?? Yes, I know I'm shouting. This hit the top of my wishlist as soon as I saw the new Mini Catalogue. I'm such a sucker for anything swirly.
Here I've used the unlikely colour combo of Sahara Sand, Cameo Coral, Taken with Teal and Old Olive. I'm not sure when Cameo Coral made the leap from my "most-disliked" colour list to my "use it a lot" list...must have been while I wasn't looking! I've wheeled straight onto my Old Olive Inkpad, since I don't have an Old Olive cartridge. Then I used my Inkpad lids and blender pen to colour. I prefer the Blender pens over the Aquapainter when I only have small areas to colour, as they give you more control. Also, the Old Olive is not waterproof and the Blender pens are less likely to make it run.
I had to make this a long card, because I couldn't bear to chop out any of the wheel! This wheel is too, too nice to sit on the background of a card.

  4. Hi Marelle

This is lovely, the wheel didn't call as loudly to me from the mini catalogue, but the cards I've seen made with ARE CALLING VERY LOUDLY yours included! I didn't realise how delicate it was going to look!
