The Last Chicken....

And you know, I'm actually sad to see the last of these guys. I pulled out some more colours that I don't use often...Bravo Burgundy, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie and Always Artichoke.
I'm really not sure how I ever survived without "Ribbon Originals". Somehow I've ended up ordering EVERY pack. It's like Pringles...you can't stop at just one!
I used my Paisley stamp on here..have you noticed how restrained I've been with it lately?! I've even managed to use some other background stamps. Here I inked it up in Bravo Burgundy, but when I applied the More Mustard strip of cardstock to the stamp, instaed of pressing hard, I just "walked" my fingers over the cardstock, so it came out a bit patchy. Then I sponged the edges in Bravo burgundy.
By the way, I almost always use my background stamps upside down....I apply the cardstock to the stamp, rather than the other way round. I find it easier that way.

  4. You know what? I was going through the catty today, for the millionth time, and just realised these little chickens are currently in our catty! I swear I must walk around with one eye closed sometimes.

Though, that is not as bad as a customer emailing me to order a set this week and me telling her we don't have it, for her to tell me which page it is on!

I will be sad to see these chooks go, you did a great job :)

  5. You have passed the test of Chicken Cards with flying colors - and gorgeous colors, I might add! Well done, young lady! :) And they all managed to keep their heads!

And, folks, if you want to see one more of Marelle's fabulous chicken cards, you can check out my blog as I'll be posting one she sent me real soon...
