I've taken my inspiration from the picture frame on page 10, and the colours are from page 14:
Here's a close-up of the chipboard circle and layering:

Thanks Kerry. I've added Mr Linky now....must have been having a vague moment!!
What a fabulous challenge Marelle - there are great designs in the catalogue - you have motivated me to create - thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love your take on the challenge - something that looks so simle in the book; but it actually had alot of detail!
Great challenge Marelle! Where do we put our links?
ReplyDeleteHi Marelle,
ReplyDeleteI've entered my first challenge, so I really hope I've entered my link correctly via Mr Linky!! :)
Its a little set of notecards and matching box using Forest Friends (1 card is pretty much cased but that got my mojo flowing for the other card and box lol)

OOh didnt see this! Will have to try and make time for a play.

This looks like a fun challenge. Looking forward to starting school holidays today so I can have a go at this. Thanks for the idea Marelle.
ReplyDeleteHoping that I have done this correctly ... this is my first challenge and my first time with Mr Linky!
ReplyDeleteSorry Marelle, I messed up the first Mr Linky I did, and had to try again. My card is based on the same pic as yours but very loosly.
ReplyDeleteHi Marelle,
ReplyDeleteGreat challenge especially as I had just made a card using the Spring Mini as inspiration! I chose the "Kind" card, page 12, and hope the link works ok.

Oops. I had to re-link. Sorry about that. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Marelle, Great challenge and takes the guesswork out of creating card layouts!! Have uploaded 2 cards. Both use the colour combo from the Ski Slope DSP on page 20. Card 1 is based on the card on page 21 and Card 2 is based on the card on page 3. Had lots of fun making these...first time entering a challenge for me!! Thanks, Dione Bird
ReplyDeleteHi Marelle. I've finally got around to joining in with the fun! Your card was a great inspiration. It triggered off all these ideas. The most difficult part was deciding which one to use, because the Spring Mini is a great source of inspiration and all the new products are pretty 'yummy'.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Bronwyn :)
Thanks for opening this challenge up to New Zealanders too! I was getting a bit stuck in a rut with my card-making style so this was a great chance to try something a little bit different..
ReplyDeleteHi Marelle, I have managed to enter my very first challenge with you. After going through my stash of cards I had made recently and came across one which I think fits the challenge. Thank you.
