February Blog Hop

Happy Valentine's Day, and welcome to another Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop! This month we have a tic-tac-toe Challenge. We had to choose 3 items in a row to incorporate into our card. I chose Sparkle, Designer Series Paper and Twine for my card. I use these 3 things on pretty much every card I make, so it was an easy choice!

It's going to be fun to see what everyone else chose. You can make the complete circuit and see all the gorgeous creations by following the links at the end of each post.

Here is my card:

I decided to continue playing with the Love Cats stamp set, in honour of Valentines Day today. Besides, I just love these kitties. For the "DSP" part of the challenge, I chose the Dandy Designs paper (FREE Sale-a-Bration item!). The "sparkle" is Iridescent Rhinestones, and the "twine" is White twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials pack. 

I stamped my cute 'head over heels' kitty on a Stitched Circle. I paper-pieced the heart for a cute added detail. The sentiment is also from the Love Cats stamp set, stamped on a strip of Calypso Coral cardstock.

Love Cats Valentine

In honour of Valentine's Day tomorrow, I decided to have a play with the Love Cats stamp set. I couldn't resist this set is the January- April Mini Catalogue. Those kitties are just so cute!

I decided to pair it with some fun Sale-a-Bration paper Dandy Designs. I know Valentines is typically red or pink, but who says it can't be Fresh Freesia and Calypso Coral? I like the contrast of crisp black and white with these pretty pastels.

Carrot CaSE

And here is Carrot card number 3! 

This card was CaSEd from the back page of the Sale-a-Bration brochure. The stamp set is the Thanks a Bunch Sale-a-Bration set and I also used some of the Dainty Flowers DSP for my card (another FREE Sale-a-Bration item!). For added texture, I used the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder (new in the Mini Catalogue). A few Iridescent Rhinestones add a bit of sparkle.

And everything's still coming up carrots, with Carrot card number 2! How cute are these little heirloom carrots? The Sale-a-Bration Thanks a Bunch stamp set features carrots in all shapes and sizes, plus leaves and lots of useful sentiments too.

I used the Dainty Flowers DSP for this card (another FREE Sale-a-Bration item!). The floral images are all beautiful, but I love this water-colour look background pattern too. Lucky there's 2 sheets of every design!

Everything's Coming Up Carrots!

I honestly never thought I'd make a card with a carrot on it, but when Sale-a-Bration rolls around and there's a Carrot stamp set on offer, why not?! The Thanks a Bunch stamp set features carrots, leaves and lots of useful sentiments too.

So this week on my blog, everything's coming up carrots! This card was CaSEd from the card on page 5 of the Sale-a-Bration brochure. I used the Dainty Flowers DSP for my card (another FREE Sale-a-Bration item!)

Sweet Sorbet Gingham

And here is my third Beautifully Happy creation, using the stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration brochure, paired with the Country Gingham Designer Series Paper in the new Mini Catalogue. This one is a littel brighter, suing the Sweet Sorbet paper.

I also used one of the Framed Florets oval dies to frame my flowers. It just grounds them a little so they aren't just floating there.

I coloured the flowers using Blends and added a few Iridescent Pearls for embellishment. The sentiments are also from the Beautifully Happy stamp set.
