Launch Party Thank you Gifts

All of the guests at my Launch Party took home a goody bag, and one of the items inside was this little treat holder:

I was inspired by a swap I received at Convention from Janette Clark. I thought it was so clever how she used a Medium Crumb Cake envelope, folded in half. A tasty chockie treat (from Aldi) fits perfectly in the open half, and a little metallic clothespin holds it closed:

I used the new "Moonlight" paper stack for my colour scheme (I did half Lost Lagoon and half Blackberry Bliss). Love these papers!

Traveler Make-and-Take

This is the second make-and-take that 58 lovely ladies made at my Launch Party. I often hear that people struggle with masculine card ideas, so I was excited to see the "Traveler" stamp set....it's perfect for the males in your life. And so is new In Color Mossy Meadow...a lovely deep green that pairs really well with brown tones.

I've stamped "World Map" in the background, in Baked Brown Sugar ink on Naturals Ivory cardstock. To make the 'peeled back' window, I punched a Word Window and then gently tore and rolled the edges until I had a rectangular hole. It's an effective way to add some dimension without adding another layer. There's lots of sponging going on here too, in Crumb Cake ink, to add to the vintage feel.

I'm loving the new In Color Ribbon. It's the perfect finishing touch on this card...did I mention that you can get all the colours in my Product Shares? ;o)

Work of Art for my Launch Party

It's always a bit tricky designing make-and-takes for a Launch Party. I really want to show off new colours and products, but it also needs to be simple enough for 58 ladies to make with very little assistance. Hopefully I nailed it with this card....I really think it's pretty hard to go wrong with this stamp set. It's brand new in our Annual Catalogue, and it's called "Work of Art". It gives the look of artistic brush-strokes with stamps.

I have to say, I think this is one of the most user-friendly catalogues we have had in a long time. It really is a joy to look at. Mine is very well-thumbed and I am still finding more and more things to love.

Just a few things to note about ordering from this Catalogue:

• Not all of the Blendabilities colours are available to order right away. These are the colours that are currently available to order: Cherry Cobbler, Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, Skin Tone Assortment. In addition, the following accessories will also be available: Memento Ink Pad, Memento Ink Refill, Color Lifter. The rest of the colours will be available on August 1.
• The Project Life Black Faux Leather 12" x 12" Album (#135292; p188) will not be available for immediate purchase. It will be available for order on 14 July.

Fringe Scissors Technique Class

End of month Run-Down

It's almost the end of June, which means that our new Catalogue is only days away. There's a lot going on (including bargains galore!), so I thought I'd give you a run-down.
