Butterfly Prints Stamp-a-Stack

I can't believe the inkpad caddy STILL hasn't been won! I'm starting to get worried that maybe I forgot to include that voucher in the envelopes (which I know is impossible, because I counted so carefully!). I'm also worried that it will be in Envelope #100 and you will all think this is rigged! (which it's not because I was so careful about not knowing which envelope it was in - I really didn't want to know, or I would give the game away for sure - I have the worst poker face!)

There are only 26 envelopes left, which means you have a 1 in 26 chance of winning it if you place a $100 order! ...I'm trying not to panic that there's just over a week to go and I have no more workshops booked, just several classes and an Open House here on Sunday.

Happy Moments with Razzle!

I've found Happy Moments to be the most popular Sale-a-Bration set this year. It's just so versatile. It has stamps for all occasions and 3 bonus little greetings too. In my head I have lots more ideas for this set, but I'd better get my act together and stamp them, or I'll run out of time! There's less than 3 weeks left to Sale-a-Brate!
This was one of my February Stamp-a-Stack Designs. I paired Happy Moments with Razzle Dazzle, and I think they are getting along quite nicely together, don't you? Razzle Dazzle is happy to be in the background while Happy Moments takes centre stage! The inside cover of the Sale-a-Bration Brochure provided my inspiration for these cards, and the colour combinations are just some colours I was playing around with that I hadn't used in a while.
I coloured the images with Watercolour Wonder Crayons and an Aquapainter. It's my preferred choice when colouring on Whisper White cardstock.
I made my tag shape by using the grid paper to mark it out evenly. I used the Double Rectangle Punch to punch 2 neat holes for my ribbon.

March Stamp-a-Stack

Thank you all for your encouraging words about my Lucky Envelopes. I'm trying to have a "glass half full" frame of mind and focus on how many envelopes are gone, rather than how many are still left. I've also been trying to tell myself that 23 days is HEAPS of time and that it's ONLY the 9th March...and I've been visualising myself on Hamilton Island like crazy!
I get heart palpitations every time I open an envelope, but I haven't seen the magic words "Ink pad Caddy" yet, so it's still up for grabs!
As promised, I'm back with a variation on my 72 Card Bundle. This is also my March Stamp-a-Stack Design. I've made the design a bit more boyish by using Sweet Slumber Specialty Paper and the 2 star punches. I've used the punches in lots of different ways on these cards. There are a couple of other punch tricks that you'll learn in the class too. I only have a couple of spots left for the rest of the month, so email me for availability.

Isn't this paper gorgeous? Actually, it's more like textured cardstock than paper, so it has a lovely weight and feel.
I've also used the Vintage Labels Sale-a-bration set. This one's a must-have if you love your punches. Even if you don't have all the punches yet, you can cut out the images for now, and know that you'll have the set ready for when you do eventually own them all (because you know you will!!)

Butterfly Calendar

Thank you all so much for your support! I've had so many lovely emails and comments from you gorgeous people. I've had Demonstrators offer to place an order through me (so sweet, but of course I said no!) and customers of other Demonstrators offer to place a one-off order through me, just as a thank you "for providing so much Inspiration on my Blog" (she had to twist my arm, but I eventually said OK to that one!). So thank you! As you can see I still have a LONG way to go, but I'm just trying to take one day at a time. At least at the end of this I'll know I've given it my best shot!
In the meantime, I guess I'd better get on with providing some of that Inspiration to you all!
This is the Calendar we made at my Open House in January:

It's an easel card, which I thought would be perfect for displaying a calendar. So super quick and simple, so it would be a terrific one to mass-produce, and easy enough for even kids to do (attention all you school teachers out there!). I went with the stylish colour scheme of Basic Black, Baja Breeze and Whisper White. I love a black, white and one-other-colour combo! Try it next time you're stuck for a colour combination.

Not much explanation required here, just straight stamping (Butterfly Prints from the Mini and Vintage Labels Sale-a-Bration Set) and punching (Wide Oval, Designer Label and Butterfly). I used a Rhinestone brad for the centre of the butterfly. The sentiment has been popped up on Dimensionals so it holds the easel in place.

I got the calendars from a educational craft supplies company. Most of them get the calendars in just before Christmas.

A Quick Punch Trick!

I promised that I'd be back to show you how I made the little label in THIS post, so here I am (finally!) Tina guessed correctly. Here's how I did it...complete with pictures.
First stamp your little sentiment on a scrap of cardstock, and punch it out using the SIDE of the Designer Label punch:Now, so you can feed it back into the punch, make a "handle" from another scrap of cardstock. I attach my handle using snail adhesive.
TIP: if you touch the SNAIL adhesive a few times with your finger after you apply it, it will not be as sticky, so you can easily remove the handle afterwards.

Next, feed it back into the punch and punch the other side:

Voila, a cute little label:

For my first creation, I have used the very cute "Good Neighbours" set. This card was inspired by a little row of blue dutch china houses that I remember seeing in my neighbour's house as a little girl. I loved visiting her and playing with those little houses!

I had fun stamping these in every shade of blue and cutting them out. Here's a close-up so you can see the dimension: I used Razzle Dazzle for the background, stamped in Versamark and sponged over the top with Not Quite Navy and Bordering Blue pastels.

My next creation uses the "Happy Moments" set. I've made lots of pretty, girly cards with this set, and this was my attempt at a more masculine one. I've used Tall Tales DSP (from the Summer Mini):

Vintage Labels Stamp-a-Stack

This set is of this month's Stamp-a-Stack designs. I've used my favourite paper for masculine cards - Windsor Knot, and kept to Sage Shadow and Chocolate Chip for the colour combo. To make this set of cards all you need is one stamp set (and it's FREE - Vintage Labels Sale-a-Bration set), one inkpad (Chocolate Chip) and some patterned paper...and just a few punches! I've jazzed the cards up with some wide Chocolate double-stitched ribbon and some of the little Clips. There's a mini bulldog clip, and 2 different types of paperclips in the Assortment. You get 24 in a pack, and they're great to add a little something extra, especially on masculine cards.

Here's a Quick Question for you (those who have attended my class are not allowed to give it away!). Can you tell me what punch I used the make the little "Happy Birthday" in the card on the left, and how I did it?

These are the teacher gifts I made for my kid's teachers last year. They were quick and easy to make (which really fitted the bill at the time!) and the teachers seemed to like them too :o)
