Happy Birthday Gears

I've seen lots of amazing grungy cards with the Gears & Textures Bundle, but I'm really more of a clean and simple person, so I challenged myself to make a set of not-grungy cards using this set. First I chose my colours - Old Olive, Pretty Peacock, Clous Cover, Smoky Slate and Earthen-toned Metallic Foil. I needed some masculine cards for my stash and this bundle definitely ticks that box. 

To make this card, I stamped images from the Gears and Textures bundle all over the front of my card. I added a few die cut gears, and I even used a few of the leftover centre dots from the die-cuts as embellishment, instead of gems or sequins.

By the way - how great is this sentiment? It's January's Product of the Month (still available...for now!)
