August Blog Hop

Welcome to another Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop! This month we have a Colour Challenge! We had to use Real Red, Tahitian Tide and Crushed Curry. You can make the complete circuit and see all the lovely creations by following the links at the end of each post.

I decided this would be the perfect colour combination to use to make a birthday card for my 11-year-old nephew:

For this Colour Challenge, I decided to use the Amazing Phrasing stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure. I also used the Celebrate Everything Host Designer Series Paper from the Jul-Dec Mini Catalogue. This paper has lots of different celebratory designs, in bright festive colours. 

I stamped "Woo Hoo!" in Real Red and fussy cut the letters. The blocky shapes were pretty easy to cut out. For embellishment, I just punched out some small Starlit stars in all 3 colours and made them shiny using a dab of Shimmery Crystal Effects.

And for the inside:

I still use these retired Numbers dies a lot.
