August Blog Hop

Welcome to another Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop! This month we have a Colour Challenge. You can make the complete circuit and see all the lovely creations by following the links at the end of each post.

I had fun playing with these colours and some new products too:

I love playing with new stuff! This month we are spoilt for choice, with a new Mini Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration brochure both launching.

I decided to use the new Delicate Dahlias Sale-a-Bration stamp set. This is a large stamp set that you can earn for free with a $180 order.  I stamped the outline image in Pale Papaya and then used a sponge dauber to ink up the solid image, and stamped it over the top. I did the same with the leaves, in Soft Succulent ink. Then I fussy-cut the images.

I used the new Timeworn Type embossing folder on the background. The DSP piece is from the Harvest Meadow pack. I decided it needed a little bling, so I've added a strip of the super sparkly Be Dazzling 6"x 6" Specialty Paper. I wanted more of a copper look, to match the Champagne Rhinestones so I used the Light Cinnamon Cider Blend to colour it. I framed it with some Linen Thread and also a strip of Evening Evergreen cardstock.

The sentiment is also from the Delicate Dahlias stamp set. I stamped it in Evening Evergreen ink and cut it out using a die from Ornate Frames

Well, that’s all from me. Click on the button below to move to the next stop:
