It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com.
This week is a sketch challenge, and this is the sketch we had to work with:
I love "masculine" products that have a lot of versatility. The World of Good Suite has some great images of maps and globes, some beautiful sentiments and lots of texture too. These all combine to make quick and easy cards that look like they took way longer than they actually did!
I think the stamp images in the Beautiful World set are perfect for masculine cards, but also for bon voyage themes, and travel albums and journals.
I've taken my colour scheme from the World Of Good Designer Series Paper - Misty Moonlight and Cinnamon Cider (2 of our brand new In Colors!). There's lots of Designer Series Paper on this card. I used it for all 3 layers. I added extra texture to the top layer with the Old World Paper embossing folder. I used gold embossing powder to give my stamped globe a shiny metallic finish. The final touch is 3 types of ribbon - I used the Forever Greenery combo pack and also the Braided Linen Trim
