CCMC482 Birthday Blooms Blends

It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com.
This week is a sketch challenge, and this is the sketch we had to work with:

I love to colour in and I've been having lots of fun colouring with the new Stampin' Blends lately. So, when I saw this sketch, guess what I reached for?

• These pretty flowers  and sentiment are part of the Birthday Blooms stamp set. I've stamped in Black Memento ink and coloured using the new Stampin' Blends.
• The Blends colours I've used are Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight. I've used the Light Smoky Slate pen for the shadow
• The Quilt Top embossing folder adds some subtle texture to the background. I wanted the flower to stand out, so I kept the background white.
• The decorative strips were cut from the Petal Garden paper stack
