Here's my take on this week's sketch:
I'm trying to get as much use as I can from the Make a Medallion Sale-a-Bration set before it disappears on March 31. This card feels a little Moroccan or Indian to me...maybe it's the colours, or just all those beautiful mandala-like medallions. I've used Calypso Coral, Peekaboo Peach and So Saffron (with Very Vanilla and a splash of Gold).
Here are a few tips:
- To make the decorative element in the corner I used the Flourish thinlits, the Classic Label punch, a gold mini paper clip, and some of the gold Sale-a-Bration ribbon. It sounds like a lot, but I think they work together well
- The gold strip at the bottom, and the gold flourish thinlit actually started out as So Saffron cardstock. I've coloured them in with Gold Wink of Stella.
- I've also dotted Gold Wink of Stella on various parts of the medallions, and spattered it on the background piece. It's all very sparkly in real life!

This is wonderful! That's one stamp set I didn't get this time! But, the colors work beautifully with it...and perfect to split it up for the sketch! Great job with the sketch challenge this week!
