Time for Tea

Do you ever see a stamp set and just know without question that you'll be buying it? When I saw "A Nice Cuppa" and the co-ordinating framelits, they went straight onto my "must have" list.
This was the first card I made using the set, but I have plans for many more!
I've paired it with the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper - it's my favourite paper in the Occasions Catalogue. I can't stop using it!
I couldn't decide whether to use Mint Macaron or Pool Party for my tea cups, so I used both! It co-ordinates well with the watercolour look of the DSP, I think. To get this look, I just inked the lower half of the stamp in Mint Macaron, and the top half in Pool Party. Then I used a sponge dauber to blend the middle part so there was a gradual transition in colour.
