12 Cards of Christmas - Card 3

I always like to make a few cards in non-traditional colours. Blue is always a favourite of mine. This particular shade of blue, Bordering Blue is now retired (it wasn't back in July when I made these cards!) but you could substitute another shade like Baja Breeze or Marina Mist. This design was actually CASEd from a card I received from a stamping friend last year, Ngaire Anderson.

Each card has a vellum overlay, which gives a lovely soft effect:

The stamp set, A Wish for Peace is a favourite of mine. Hope you're enjoying these...I'll be back again tomorrow!

Materials (all Stampin' Up!)
stamps: A Wish for Peace, Best Yet (retired Hostess Set)
ink: Not Quite Navy
card: Bordering Blue (retired), Very Vanilla, Not Quite Navy, Vellum
other: Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Eyelet Border Punch, Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon
