Inspiration can come from the strangest places. My daughter Amy has a pretty cushion in her bedroom, and when I was vacuuming her room, I thought it would make a lovely card. So, that was the end of the vacuuming, and I sat down to make a card instead! Here's the cushion:And my challenge to you is go and be inspired by something unusual, and turn it into some Papercraft!
Cardstock: Cool Caribbean, Rose Red, Regal Rose, Old Olive, Whisper White
Stamps: Scribble This, Little Pieces
Other: Paper piercing mat pack, white gel pen
That looks fantastic Marelle! What a great idea & good choice of colours.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a good idea. I can't believe how close the colours in the card are to the ones on the cushion. I seem to see the world in Stampin' Up! colours all the time now. I drive my friends crazy by saying "your dress looks just like Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla ink"!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Marelle! I'm constantly being inspired by 'real world' things, but I'll keep my eyes out now to rise to your challenge :-D
ReplyDeleteLove the card Marelle - I'm off to search for inspiration!
ReplyDeleteFabulous!
ReplyDeletelove it!
