Craft Sale Next Weekend!

This weekend the main job on my to-do list is to sort through the piles of retired Stampin' Up! products that I have accumulated over the past few years. Next Saturday 22nd June our Team Craft Sale is happening again. Note the new time - we are having an afternoon time slot this year. If you arrive early, you will find a Martial Arts Class instead of Craft Bargains!

There will be 16 of us, with tables full of Retired Stampin' Up! stamps, inks, tools, papers and embellishments. We are busy cleaning out our cupboards in preparation, and have lots of products in need of a good home. Everything will be priced to sell, so there will be lots of bargains to be had!

June Blog Hop

Welcome to another Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop! This month we have a Colour Challenge. You can make the complete circuit and see all the lovely creations by following the links at the end of each post.

Here is what I made with these 3 new In Colors:

After much deliberation, I decided to go floral with these colours. I've used the Floral Essence stamp set, and used sponge daubers to apply the ink to add some depth. I fussy cut and layered the flowers but happily, the Leaf punch fits the leaves in this set, so no fussy cutting required there!

I've used the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper and stamped some more flowers on the background piece. I used the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder on the Seaside Spray piece. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I snipped the corners with a 1/2" Circle Punch, just to soften the edges.

A few Rhinestones for some bling and we are done!

CCMC565 New Wonders

It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com. This week is a colour challenge, and these are the colours we had to work with:

 

I think this New Wonders stamp set would have to be one of the cutest sets in the whole Catalogue. It's a Stampin' Rewards set, so can't be ordered like regular sets. However, once you reach an order of $250 (can be a group or individual order), it can be ordered as part of your Stampin' Rewards. I totally think it's worth saving up a couple of orders to qualify for this adorable set!

 

I love this colour combo for being girly without being pink. The two purples are so pretty together and the Daffodil Delight adds a splash of freshness. I cut out the little fairy and popped her on a Stitched Circle. I used Blends to colour my image and also sparkled it up with some Dazzling Diamonds. I just popped little dots of Multipurpose Glue where I wanted some glitz and sprinkled the glitter on. I've used the Tin Tile Embossing Folder for the background and the Subtle embossing folder on the Gorgeous Grape piece.

 

The Polka Dot Tulle ribbon adds just a touch of whimsy!

Delightful Day Stamp-a-Stack

This is the other set of cards we are making in class this week. We are playing with all the new In Colors!
I love how well they all work so well with Crumb Cake...and that Scalloped Linen ribbon is to die for.
The new Delightful Day bundle makes super easy tags...in 3 different widths! This is the largest size on these cards. I just popped a piece of the In Color DSP behind each tag for a quick and simple card.

Sailing Home Stamp-a-Stack

CCMC564 Wildly Happy

It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com.
This week is a sketch challenge, and this is the sketch we had to work with:

 

How adorable is this stamp set? It's called Wildly Happy and I was lucky enough to win it as a Prize Patrol giveaway at the last Stampin' Up! Demonstrator event I attended. I made this card for my beautiful daughter Amy's 22nd birthday last week. I coloured the foxes with a Blender Pen and ink. I then cut them out and popped them up on dimensionals. I also did a Smoky Slate watercolour wash behind them.

 

I've used a brand new In Color on here - Terracotta Tile. I think it works quite well as foxy fur! I've used the Subtle Embossing Folder on it and then swiped with a White inkpad to give it a bit of a softer feel. That cute spotty paper is part of the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper Pack. My colour combo is Terracotta Tile, Petal Pink and Smoky Slate.
