Friendly Foliage Thinking of You

I think I've found my new favourite colour combination - this is Lost Lagoon, Cloud Cover and Soft Sea Foam. I wanted some soft blues and greens to use with the Friendly Foliage stamp set. This set is part of the November 2025 Online Exclusive offering. It's a great one for all occasions. I achieved the multicolour effect by sponging the ink directly on to the stamp. The dies definitely come in handy for cutting out the image. There's no way you'd achieve that kind of detail cutting it out by hand!

I've paired it with the new Online Exclusive Lasting Linen stamp set. I love the subtle background textured effect that you can achieve with this stamp. I also created a subtle textured effect on the Lost Lagoon piece using the 'faux suede' technique. Basically, you run the strip of cardstock across a table edge (or you can use a bone folder) several times to loosen the fibres of the cardstock. Then, gently separate the two layers.  

I embellished the card with some Iridescent Pearls (love these!)
