Joyful Tidings Wreath

The beauty and simplicity of the Joyful Tidings stamp set on page 58 of the Mini Catalogue really appealed to me. I love white on white Christmas cards so that's what I decided to make with it first. The key with simple designs is to add texture so it doesn't look too 'flat'. On this card I added texture in 4 ways - the Traditional Wreath Embossing folder in the background, the Irregular Weave Trim bow, the stitched detail on the Branching Out dies and some Iridescent Pearl 'berries', which I coloured Real Red using Blends. It's all those little details that really step up a simple design.
