Sunflower Wishes

Here is the second card I made using the gorgeous Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. It's a beautiful pattern that lends itself to lots of different techniques.

For this card, I ran a piece of Basic White cardstock through the embossing folder. On the 'indented' side, I roughly coloured the flowers and leaves using Blends (Darling Duckling, Old Olive and Crumb Cake). You don't even need to stay in the lines, because the edges all get covered up in the next step. 'Swipe' over the top using an Early Espresso inkpad. You'll get ink on the raised areas, leaving the colour to show underneath. I didn't want to cover it up too much, so I just used a piece of the Woven Textures DSP, along with some Linen Thread under the sentiment.
