Meet Darling Duckling!

This week I'm be sharing some cards that I have made using the brand new batch of In Colors. These will be appearing in the upcoming new Annual Catalogue (coming on May 6th!). The 5 new 2025-27 In Colors are - Timid Tiger, Darling Duckling, Strawberry Slush (back again!), Cloud Cover and Secret Sea. I love having new colours to play with!

This is Darling Duckling, which is kind of a cross between Daffodil Delight and Wild Wheat. I've used the Mixed Florals bundle (available now as an Online Exclusive). Darling Duckling is the perfect colour for these daisy petals. Because I don't have Blends in the new In Colors (yet!!), I stamped in Stazon ink on Watercolour Paper and used an inkpad and an aquapainter to colour my flowers. 

I also don't have the new In Color DSP (yet!) so instead I used the Cute Crochet embossing folder to add some pattern and texture. To make it stand out more, I swiped it with my White Craft Inkpad.
