Botanical Textures Card Set

I love monochromatic designs, so the Botanical Textures Designer Series Paper is right up my alley. Black and White is such a versatile colour combo too, either to use on its own or to add other colours to. For these cards, I used pieces of scrap DSP in various sizes, and cut them to fit on the Textured Notes Dies rectangles.

The sentiments are from the Blooming Phrases stamp set, and they fit perfectly in the smallest Textured Notes rectangle. I popped some White 1/4  ribbon behind, which has a lovely soft textural weave to it. In the background, I added some texture with the Pressed Flowers and  Glass & Gardens Embossing Folders.

Today I have another Botanical Textures card to share with you. This Designer Series Paper is right up my alley. Black and White is such a versatile colour combo too, either to use on its own or to add other colours to. For this card, I used strips of DSP in various widths, and cut them to fit on one of the Textured Notes Dies rectangles.

Floral Impressions Card Set

This week I've been sharing my Floral Impressions Suite cards. This Suite is a bright and cheery meeting of floral products. There's bright paper adorned with vibrant flowers; stamps featuring lush greenery and blooms; dies with flowers and heartfelt sentiments; and other decorative supplies. I mainly focused on the Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper which I used to make some pretty (but quick and easy!) cards.

I used a couple of complementary patterns as the basis for these cards, and layered up some sentiments from Bright Borders and Beautiful Motifs using co-ordinating colours. The To the Point Label Punch makes it really easy to turn them into a feature for your card.
