Nests of Winter

I have such a soft spot for our feathered friends! It's one of the things I love about living up here in the Blue Mountains - we have many and varied birdy visitors up here. No cardinals like the ones on my card, but that doesn't stop me liking these little guys too!

This card has been made almost completely just using the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper. I used it in the background (both the striped and the bark pattern), and I also cut the birds from the paper. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Season stamp set, which contains some beautiful festive greetings. A Linen Thread bow is the finishing touch, along with some Iridescent Pearls.
