During July we are CaSEing the Annual Catalogue. Each week there will be a picture from the new catalogue, and we can be inspired by either the stamp set, layout or the colours. This is our project for Week 1:
I didn't stray too far from the sketch at all for this one. I used the same layout and stamp set, but used a totally different colour palette - Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy and Very Vanilla.
All of the patterned paper, and the dry embossed paper comes from the Boho Indigo Product Medley. You can get the whole Medley, including stamps and dies for $122, or just the refill for $40 - this will get you the paper, die-cuts and paper flowers.
My stamped flowers are Painted Poppies...who says poppies can't be blue? I stamped in Misty Moonlight and gave them a light watercolour wash with a Water Painter and ink.
The stamped sentiment is from the Boho Indigo Medley, and I've punched it out with the Story Label punch.
I always like to add a few finishing touches to a card. In keeping with the Inspiration card, I popped on some twine under the punched sentiment (from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo pack), and a few Rhinestones scattered on the card.
