More Christmas in July

I'm looking forward to having some new Christmas Patterned Paper to play with, once the Holiday Catalogue is released on August 28. I should have some in my hot little hands soon, since Demonstrators can pre-order TODAY (Yay!!!). But, until then....What do you do when you don't have any Christmas Paper? Make your own, of course!

I've taken some Pool Party cardstock and stamped Festive Flurry snowflakes in Bermuda Bay, Island Indigo and Pool Party ink...voila, DIY patterned paper!
I've stamped my cute Christmas birdie on a 5cm wide piece of Whisper White cardstock and turned it into a tag using the Tag Topper punches. I've given the birdie a splash of colour using a Blender pen, and also some sparkle using Dazzling Details. It's difficult to see in the photo, but I used clear for the ice that the birdie is skating on, and some silver on his scarf and pom pom.
