Trellis Card with the Chevron Punch

We are in full trip-preparation mode now that school holidays are here. I can't believe we are going to the US next Friday! There is sooo much to do before we go. I managed to squeeze in one last week of classes last week, and this is one of the cards we made:

The theme was "Trellis Cards", and I showed everyone how to make this trellis using the Chevron Border Punch. We made an envelope to match too:

Here's a close-up of the pretty flowers, coloured with So Saffron, Crisp Cantaloupe and Calypso Coral markers:

Did you notice the Crisp Cantaloupe mat behind the Chalk Talk framelit? It's made using the Tag Topper Punch - 8.2 x 4.9cm cardstock, punched at both ends.
I've made a lot of masculine cards using the Hardwood Background stamp, but I love how pretty it looks in Soft Sky, and not just 'woody' colours.

  1. Gorgeous card, Marelle. Those colours looks so pretty together. Hope you all have a fabulous trip and take lots of photos. My two eldest are in the USA on a trip so our house is very quiet for a few weeks! hugs Helen
