An off day

I'm being brave today and showing you a card that I don't like...one of those ones that started as an idea in my head and then didn't translate very well onto paper. I stuck 3 strips of cardstock down onto my Sahara Sand card (Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party and Calypso Coral) and then stamped Summer Solstice on top in Early Espresso ink. I think the rest is all pretty self-explanatory...and just a little bit ugly unfortunately! Oh well, we all have off days ;o)

  4. I really like it too. The Summer Solstice looks great on your In Colour strips.

Funny how we each interpret things so differently.

  6. It's simple and uncluttered. One of those quick and easy cards you can make a million of and hand out to friends to use as 'thank yous' etc..

  8. Marelle, you have created a lovely card. The stampset over the coloured stripes made we say "I have to have that stampset!" So, a successful card in my opinion.
