Loveliest Tree Birthday

Most of the cards I make these days are pretty quick and easy, and this one definitely ticks that box. I think the best way to make a simple card is to let the DSP do the heavy lifting. That is definitely the case here - the gorgeous watercolour background that looks hand-painted is a piece of Thoughtful Journey 6"x6" DSP.

I added some dies from the Loveliest Tree bundle. I kept them crisp and white rather than adding any colour. The Loveliest Tree stamp set also contains some beautiful sentiments. I decided to make this a 'Happy Birthday' card, but really it could work for any occasion. I used a piece of Wild Wheat behind my DSP, just to frame it a little, and tie in with the sentiment.
