Today I have another Stamp Camp ShoeBox card to share with you. This one was designed by the lovely Cheryl.
I love this background effect that Cheryl showed us. To create this look, just dab an inkpad or scribble a marker on a large block and spritz it with water. Next, dab your Basic White cardstock over the top to transfer the colour. The result is a soft watercoloured background. Once it's dry, you can stamp over the top.
We used the Quiet Meadow stamp set on this card. It has this lovely flower image, as well as some beautiful sentiments and a very handy spatter background that was stamped in Versamark ink for a subtle effect. We also used one of the Basics 3D embossing folders to add some texture to the background.
This was a really fun card to make!
What is a Shoebox Swap, I hear you ask? All the ingredients for making a card are included in each box, including pre-cut cardstock. It's great to be able to sit down and make 10 cards without having to think/plan/design.
